Campaign fundraising for Nathan Hochman’s bid to unseat Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon is surging ahead of the incumbent. The tough-on-crime candidate is getting a cash inflow from law enforcement. Hochman has raised nearly ten and a half million dollars while Gascon has one point two million. Some law enforcement officials have been outspoken about Gascon’s policies that they say put criminals right back on the street after they are arrested.
