Erik and Lyle Menendez were found guilty of killing their parents in Beverly Hills nearly three decades ago. They’ve always maintained they didn’t kill for the money, but because their father had been molesting them for years while their mother stood by him. Today, the extended family of Lyle, now 56, and Erik, 53, will be joined by celebrity advocate Rosie O’Donnell to demand their release based on new evidence. They feel buoyed by the announcement from the Los Angeles County DA that he’s reviewing the case.
