Research shows that Daylight Saving Time can be detrimental to your health.  Cardiologists report seeing a 24-percent higher risk of heart attacks in the week after we move to Daylight Saving Time which is in March.

The stroke rate goes up by eight percent and there’s a six-percent spike in deadly car accidents.  Researchers say losing an hour of sleep can impair short-term brain function, so there are some people who’re looking forward to falling back and gaining an hour of sleep when we revert to Standard Time on November 3rd.
