Suspects At Large Following Friday’s ‘Flash Mob’ Robbery At Westfield Topanga Mall

LAPD is on the case following Friday afternoon’s flash-mob robbery at Westfield Topanga Mall.  Police say about two dozen people entered the mall’s Nordstrom store around 5 p.m. and immediately spread out before grabbing merchandise and running out of the west San Fernando Valley store.  Some of the thieves reportedly fled the scene in a black Audi.  No injuries were reported.  Police say a similar incident was reported at the same store in August 2023.
