The mayor of San Francisco is again praising the quick response to the shooting of 49ers Ricky Pearsall. She honored more than two dozen police officers yesterday during a free concert series at Union Square. That’s where Pearsall was injured at the end of August. A 17-year-old is accused of pulling the trigger during an attempted robbery. Mayor Breed hopes this sends a message to any would-be criminals, that cops are paying attention.
