A teen from Healdsburg, whose license plate cover read “Will Run,” has been convicted on three felony counts after leading police on a chase on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa. On Thursday, Marcus Burton was convicted on three felony counts of evading police and one count of child abuse, after pleading no contest.

He ran from the cops on October 21st of last year, with the chase ending in a crash into an innocent driver. His passenger was 17 years old at the time, leading to the child abuse charge. Burton, who was 18 years old at the time, would have a jury trial later this month. Sentencing is scheduled for November 21st. He faces up to 12 years and three months in prison.
