California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a bill into law that allows alcohol sales until four a.m. The rule only applies to the Intuit Dome, the new arena home of the Los Angeles Clippers, and only to VIP suite holders.
Bills to extend the last call for alcohol to four a.m. statewide have consistently failed to pass in the legislature. Some cities, like New York and Chicago, have four a.m. last calls. Bars in Alaska can serve customers until five a.m., and Nevada and Louisiana serve alcohol 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
