New York City Mayor Eric Adams is still insisting he will not resign as he battles federal corruption charges. Adams over the weekend told parishioners at Emmanuel Presbyterian Reformed Church he has no intention of stepping down.
Last Friday, the mayor pleaded not guilty to a series of federal charges that accuse the mayor of accepting bribes and illegal campaign donations. Adams has a number of events on his schedule today as he says he will continue his day-to-day operations of the city. He’s expected back in court on Wednesday after making several appearances this weekend.
