Vice President Harris and Former President Trump have agreed to two separate town halls next month hosted by Univision. Journalist Enrique Acevedo will field audience questions from undecided Hispanic voters. Trump will have his town hall on October 8th in Miami, and Harris will follow suit on October 10th in Las Vegas.
Both cities have a large Hispanic population, and recent polling shows Trump ahead in Florida while Harris takes the lead in Nevada. Univision’s President says the 36-million Hispanic voters in the U.S. have “the power to influence the outcome of the race for the White House and the future of the nation.”
