Former President Trump says billionaire Elon Musk has agreed to head a government efficiency commission if he is elected in November. He outlined the plan for the commission during remarks at the Economic Club of New York Thursday.
The proposed commission would be responsible for auditing federal government spending. It would also recommend new reforms. During his speech, Trump also said his economic plan if he wins a second term in the White House would bring down inflation.
