The 17-year-old accused of shooting a San Francisco 49ers rookie says he’s sorry. He was arraigned for attempted murder. Police claim he tried to rob Ricky Pearsall of his Rolex watch Saturday as he walked to his car in Union Square.
The football player fought back and was shot in the chest. The high school senior was also shot in the arm and arrested a block away.
His attorney says the boy regrets what happened and is trying to keep the case in juvenile court. Pearsall will miss at least four games this season.
