Work is underway to replace windows at San Francisco’s Millennium Tower. The order came in 2020 after one window broke in high winds from the 41st floor but safety upgrades didn’t start until last fall. City Supervisor Aaron Peskin says “progress has been very frustrating and very slow.” Since crews won’t be done until March, owners are being told to close their windows in windy weather or face up to a ten-thousand dollar fine.
