Three men are under arrest for allegedly stealing dozens of guns from a northern California gun shop. Placer County Sheriff Wayne Woo says they all have lengthy criminal histories.

Surveillance camera footage shows one of the men using a power-cutting tool to cut a hole in the side of Foothill Firearms in Newcastle, outside of Sacramento.  Once inside, the suspects loaded up duffel bags with 73 handguns.  Most have not been recovered.

Placer County Sheriff Wayne Woo says this is yet another example of the state’s failed criminal justice system.
