San Francisco Mayor London Breed is offering the homeless a ticket out of town.  The mayor on Thursday moved forward with her “Journey Home Executive Directive.”  The directive orders all city departments and staff to offer relocation services in the forms of bus tickets out of town to homeless people before offering them shelter in the city.  Part of the reason for the directive comes from new numbers that show there’s been an increase in the number of homeless people in San Francisco coming to the city from elsewhere.  Breed says San Francisco shelters are also quickly reaching capacity.
