The San Francisco Democratic Party is endorsing Mayor London Breed. They chose to only back her in the race for mayor even though they could have picked a second candidate due to the city’s ranked-choice voting. Breed says she’s honored and plans to hold a news conference later this morning. She’s up against Supervisors Aaron Peskin and Ahsha Safaí, former mayor Mark Farrell and philanthropist Daniel Lurie.
