Discount retailer Big Lots will be closing all of its locations in the North Bay. The company says it will be shuttering its Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Fairfield, Ukiah and Vacaville locations later this year.
Big Lots will also be closing several of its locations in the Sacramento region. That includes two locations in Sacramento, one in Folsom, one in Placerville, one in Woodland and one in Vacaville.
Big Lots blames financial issues and declining sales. The company reported a net loss of 205-million-dollars in the first quarter of this year. The stores will be shuttered before the end of the year, but no closing dates have been announced. Big Lots currently has 109 locations in California.
