Reports say the White House is set to launch a so-called “parole in place” plan for illegal immigrant spouses of U.S. citizens. The plan protects them from deportation, grants them a work permit, and it also could provide a pathway to citizenship. NBC News says Biden may announce the plan as soon as Tuesday.
