A mail carrier is recovering after being attacked on the job in Southern California. The U.S. Postal Service says mail carrier Bruce Jennings was attacked by a man with a decades-long rap sheet.
Authorities say the suspect was mad that Jennings didn’t have a package for him as Jennings delivered the mail in a Gardena neighborhood.
The suspect ended up jumping Jennings from behind and punching him several times before getting away. That suspect was arrested days later for breaking into a home.
