It looks like a rematch is coming in November. That’s the headline this morning after Super Tuesday and California is part of it.
The state was one of 15 voting in yesterday’s election. President Biden won the Democratic primary and former President Trump won the Republican primary. Trump could clinch the nomination by next week with tonight’s strong Super Tuesday showing.
Voters made their voices heard, but just not as many as expected. When polls opened, nearly 90-percent of ballots had not been returned.
By closing time, voter turnout was reported to be 21-percent. The state’s all-time low was in 2012 at 31-percent.
