The Fulton County Superior Court Judge deciding whether to disqualify DA Fani Willis will be making his decision within the next few weeks. Judge Scott McAfee heard summary arguments last Friday and stated he hopes to make a decision on the case in two weeks.
Georgia’s presidential primary will be held March 12th, which could happen around the same time the judge makes his final decision.
Willis has been accused of having an inappropriate romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade. Prosecutors say Willis benefited financially from her relationship with Wade and have called for her to be disqualified in the case of former President Trump’s alleged election interference.
