San Francisco Mayor London Breed’s bid for re-election could be in hot water. A new poll commissioned by the SF Chronicle found former mayor Mark Farrell leads with 20-percent of likely voters ranking him as their first choice or leaning that way.
Breed comes in second at 18-percent, followed by Levi Strauss heir Daniel Lurie and Supervisor Ahsha Safai.
However, nearly 40-percent of respondents said they are undecided.
The poll also suggests Breed may struggle under the city’s ranked-choice voting system after receiving fewer second-choice votes than either Farrell or Lurie.
