Fast food workers in California will be paid at least 20 dollars an hour, starting next year. The wage increase comes from a bill Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law on Thursday. When it takes effect on April 1st, fast-food workers in the Golden State will enjoy one of the highest minimum wages in the country. California’s current minimum wage is 15-50 an hour.
