Two More Insurance Carriers Are Leaving California Homeowners Behind

Two more insurance carriers are leaving California homeowners behind. AmGUARD Insurance and Falls Lake Insurance will no longer provide homeowners policies.

Several other insurance companies have done the same, including State Farm, Allstate, and Farmers. The latest two companies represent less than one-percent of the total insurance business in the state.

The firms that are leaving cite the skyrocketing cost to cover damages from the increased frequency of large wildfires.
