A record five-million Californians are heading out of town for the Fourth of July.

That’s a five-percent jump from last year. While most will hit the road, the number of people flying is also expected to be the highest in 20 years. But beware, the holiday travel is already off to a bumpy start this week.

Airports in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco are canceling and delaying even more flights today due to weather and staffing shortages.
