Congressman who had affair with Chinese spy claims he received death threat from 49er.

(Sacramento, CA) — A California Congressman is claiming that he received a death threat from a former San Francisco 49er with a long history of alleged violence. Rep. Eric Swalwell–who is most notable for having a relationship with a Chinese spy and for perpetuating false stories about Donald Trump–took to Twitter Wednesday, posting a screenshot of a direct message that appeared to be from Bruce Miller’s account. The message says it was “almost time” for the Bay Area Democrat to either go to Guantanamo or face execution, followed by laughing emojis and an expletive. Swalwell sounded the alarm, saying his family and staff are “deeply disturbed,” and called on law enforcement to investigate. Miller has been arrested on suspicion of spousal battery and for allegedly beating an elderly man in a San Francisco hotel room.
