(San Diego, CA) — A bipartisan effort from San Diego Assemblymember Chris Ward to study rainwater capture during atmospheric river storms has passed through it’s first committee in Sacramento. The San Diego County Water Authority is among those supporting Assembly Bill 30, which would update statewide studies on atmospheric river storms, looking at ways to capture runoff, while also preventing flooding.
