(Los Angeles, CA) — The high cost of living in Los Angeles is driving people to the Inland Empire. New data from the U.S. Postal Service reveals said the LA metro area saw the second-largest net loss in households and businesses from 2018 to 2022. Economist John Husing told ABC 7 its because housing and rent has gotten “ridiculously high” in LA and Orange counties. He added “people are looking for [ a place ] where their money goes a little further.”
