(Los Angeles, CA) — More help for Turkey’s earthquake rescue operations is coming from California. The Los Angeles County Fire department is sending 81 people. That crew will include six canine teams that are trained to sniff out humans buried under rubble. The L-A County Fire Department is also sending three structural engineers. Because of California’s earthquake history, Los Angeles has some of the most advanced urban search and rescue crews in the world.
