High Surf, Strong Currents Warning Along Southern California Coast

(Los Angeles, CA) — A high surf and strong currents warning is in effect along the Southern California Coast. The National Weather Service announced waves as high as 10 to 15 feet and large swells through Thursday morning. West facing beaches in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties will see the biggest waves. The Weather Service reminds folks that large, breaking waves can be dangerous. A small craft advisory is also in effect in all coastal waters.
