(Cambridge, MA) — A new poll reveals most Americans have no idea how critical the border crisis has become. In a new Harvard-Harris Poll, 87-percent of Americans surveyed underestimated the number of illegal border crossers each year. Most believed 500-thousand were crossing each year. In reality, the situation is nearly 5 times that number. In the period from October 1st of last year to September 30th of this year, the Border Patrol reports over two-point-three-million crossed.
