Americans are naming the U.S. government as the nation’s top problem. A new Gallup poll shows an average of 19-percent of U.S. adults list the government as the worst problem in 2022. The government edges out the high cost of living or inflation and outpaces the economy in general. Americans also listed immigration, COVID-19, race relations and crime as top issues. It’s the seventh time in the past decade the federal government has topped the list.
