John Phillips warned you: L.A. County Health Department, under Barbara Ferrer, who is not a medical doctor, won’t let you reply on social media.

(Los Angeles, CA) — The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is no longer letting people reply to its social media posts. Officials made the decision this past weekend, calling the department’s accounts for “informational purposes only.” Moving forward, public comments will only be allowed during live, town hall type events. The L.A. County Department of Public Health is also letting social media users send direct messages if they have any legitimate questions.
