(San Francisco, CA) — There were long lines for the monkeypox vaccine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, which held a walk-in clinic this week. Anyone who was exposed to someone with the virus, which carries a rash with raised boils, can line up for the vaccine. So far, hospital officials say they’ve administered more than 600 doses. The virus is spread through close, intimate contact. The SF Aids Foundation is holding an informational meeting on monkeypox via its website, starting at 6:00 this evening.
