Sriracha Maker Shuts Down Due To Shortage
(Irwindale, CA) — A shortage is causing the maker of Sriracha to shut down. Southern California’s own Huy Fog Foods says multiple unexpected events caused the shortage, including crop failure of the spring chili harvest and climate conditions. The California-based company hopes to start filling orders after Labor Day.
