(Sacramento, CA) — Come July 1st all alcohol servers in California, as well as their managers, will be required to complete mandatory training and have a valid Responsible Beverage Service certification from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Servers and their managers will be given 60 days to meet the new requirements under Assembly Bills 1221 and 82. The training can be done online and according to the ABC, there are nearly 50 approved training providers, and the number is expected to increase.
