The California Republican Party held its convention in Anaheim this past weekend, with sights set on breaking the Democrats single-party rule stranglehold on the state of California. Northern California State Senator Brian Dahle is being endorsed for governor by the California Republican Party.
On the final day of its three-day 20-22 Convention in Anaheim Sunday, Dahle surpassed the 60-percent threshold needed on the fifth round of voting, receiving 5-hundred-45 votes from delegates … 61-point-1 percent of the vote.   There are 13 Republican gubernatorial candidates on the June 7th primary ballot, along with four Democrats, including Governor Gavin Newsom, seven no-party preference candidates and two Green Party members.

Below is a list of the endorsed candidates, from the party’s website.

From the CAGOP website:

ANAHEIM – Today, the California Republican Party wrapped up its successful three-day convention in Anaheim by endorsing candidates for statewide office. The endorsements were voted on by the CAGOP Delegates.

“After three days of party building, exceptional speakers, insightful trainings and official business, our Delegates endorsed quality and talented candidates for statewide office” said CAGOP Chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson. “I look forward to supporting them as they challenge California Democrats’ failed one-party rule with visions for a brighter tomorrow.”
