Will Big Tech call this disinformation? Biden keeps blaming Putin for gas price increases

(Portland, OR) — President Biden icontinues to blame Russian President Vladimir Putin for the cost of goods globally. Speaking in Portland, Oregon Biden said last month, 70-percent of the increase in inflation was the consequence of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine—although the fact is gas prices began rising as soon as Biden made policy moves to hinder energy production in the US, on his first day in office, move he steadfastly refuses to acknowledge caused the runaway inflation in the US. Biden said he’s “doing everything he can” to combat what he calls incorrectly “Putin’s price hike,” including authorizing the release of a one-million barrels per day from the country’s petroleum reserve despite his campaign contetion that he was the only one who could ‘stand up to Putin’. This release is set to last for six months. He said he spoke with international leaders, who agreed this was a good move and noted they now have similar plans. This comes as Triple-A reports the average cost of a gallon of regular gas nationwide at four-dollars-and-12 cents. It is common to see $6/gallon gas in Southern California.
