Zelenskyy: Biden Will Come To Ukraine
(Kyiv) — Ukrainian President Zelensky expects President Biden to visit Ukraine. Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union, Zelensky said he wants Biden to come to his country and thinks he will. He added that he shares Biden’s opinion the ongoing violence in Ukraine is genocide. Zelenskyy pointed to the massacre of civilians in the Kyiv suburb of Bucha as well as the embattled city of Mariupol.
Catholic Charities In Texas Urges President Biden To Visit Mexican Border
(San Juan, TX) — The Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley executive director is urging President Biden to visit the Mexican border. Appearing on CBS’ Face the Nation, Sister Norma Pimental says that coming to the border to meet the families she serves will give the President and anyone else a better understanding of why people are trying to enter the country. She believes there shouldn’t be a fear of immigrants and adds they are being processed correctly to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Sister Pimental noted humanitarian workers were prepared for any possible surge of immigrants after the repeal of Title 42.
