(Beverly Hills, CA) — A Beverly Hills store is pleading guilty to laundering money through safe deposit boxes. U.S. Private Vaults on Olympic Boulevard has owned up to conspiring with drug traffickers and even arranging drug deals at the store. The U.S. attorney’s office in Los Angeles agreed not to file criminal charges against the two owners under a plea deal with the company. However, the FBI and U.S. attorney’s office wanted to confiscate 369 boxes, alleging the contents are connected to criminal activity. The government returned the contents after several customers filed lawsuits saying they were falsely accused of wrongdoing.
