(Los Angeles, CA) — The Los Angeles area is hitting a new high with gas prices. The average price per gallon for regular is now four-dollars-89-cents. That’s about a dollar-14 higher than last year. Orange County is also setting records with their price per gallon at four-86, while Riverside County is up to four-79. As for an average in the U.S., that’s gone up to three-64. The reason, according to industry analysts, is global supply uncertainty amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
