This is a convenient comparison, bit misleading. Look at the School Disruption Map for January to Feb 15 nationwide: (image 2) Florida had fewer disruptions than California while having no mask mandates.
Making the comparison to Texas even less relevant, in the category school disruptions for the full year 2021 (image 3) Florida had fewer closures than California with no mask mandate
Worse yet is California’s Learning Mode Index for the year 2021 (Image 4). According to Burbios’s, California ranks dead last with kids learning in person.
It is this kind of selective cherry-picking of statistics that has undermined faith in our government ‘leaders’.
