(Heathrow, FL) — Triple-A is forced to cancel one of its longest-running holiday programs due to staffing shortages and COIVD-19. The travel company says it will not offer its “Tow For Life” service this holiday weekend. It’s been in place for over 20 years to help keep impaired drivers off the road. Triple-A says the highest number of drunk-driving accidents happen on New Year’s Day and is urging folks to designate a sober driver before going out. The company hopes to bring “Tow For Life” back next year.
