JonBenet Ramsey Murder Case Still Unsolved After 25 Years

(Boulder, CO) –Sunday was the 25th anniversary of one of the country’s most infamous unsolved murders. On December 26th, 1996, the body of six-year-old JonBenet Ramsey was found by her father in the basement of their Colorado home. Her death was ruled a homicide by strangulation and her parents, Jon and Patsy Ramsey were initially considered suspects. They were later cleared of suspicion. Boulder Police say the case remains open and authorities hope that DNA will eventually help solve the crime.
