Biden Rejects Suggestion He Got It Wrong On Delta & Omicron
(Washington, DC) — President Biden is rejecting suggestions that he got it wrong on the Delta and Omicron COVID variants. ABC News pressed Biden on the variants after he said the U.S. was “closer to independence” from COVID on July 4th. Biden said, “We were closer than ever but there’s a lot we don’t know.” He insisted that nobody saw Delta and Omicron coming and argued that the U.S. government is much better prepared to deal with unpredictable variants than it was a year ago.
