It recommended Pfizer or Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine over the single-dose shot by Johnson & Johnson. This is due to a blood clotting issue with the J&J shot. However, Walensky said the J&J vaccine will be available for those who can’t or don’t want to get Pfizer or Moderna. They use mRNA technology.
