State Lawmakers Planning On Making California A Sanctuary for Abortion- On Your Dime
(Sacramento, CA) — California could be an abortion sanctuary if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe vs. Wade. Lawmakers in the state have plans to help women travel to California for abortion procedures. Part of that plan is to provide money for transportation, accommodations, and even child care for those who do not have adequate funds–using your tax dollars. Some estimates predict that around one-point-three million women would drive to California to seek abortions, with most coming from Arizona. That’s because Arizona has an anti-abortion law that would be immediately enforced if Roe is overturned.
