Former Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley, one of the leaders of Recall Gascon Now says people are frustrated and don’t feel safe anymore and many are blaming the DA’s new directives and zero bail policies. Cooley told KABC’s Mottek on Money: ” This time they got a substantial amount of funds upfront, and the very robust volunteer effort, .” A spokesperson for Recall Gascon Now says they could begin collecting signatures as soon as January or February.
