CNN Fires Chris Cuomo
(New York, NY) — CNN has fired Chris Cuomo. The cable news network announced Saturday that Cuomo has been “terminated effective immediately.” Cuomo was suspended earlier this week after new information came to light about his involvement to aid his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, against sexual harrassment allegations. In a statement, CNN says the decision comes after they hired a law firm to conduct a review of the new information, and that despite the firing, they will continue to investigate as appropriate.
