First Omicron Case Detected In California: Don’t Let Unqualified Politicians Scare You

(Sacramento, CA) — Officials are confirming that the first case of the Omicron (Pronunced ahm-ih-crohn- not as Joe Biden pronounced it adding an ‘n’–Omnicron) variant of COVID-19 was detected in California, reportedly in the San Francisco area. The traveler returned to the state from South Africa on November 22nd and tested positive for the coronavirus on November 29th. Dr. Anthony Fauci confirmed that the person was fully vaccinated and was experiencing ‘mild symptoms.’ Officals also said they contacted anyone who had close contact with the infected individual and confirmed they all tested negative. Much remains unknown about the new variant including if it is more contagious or causes more severe symptoms–so beware pronouncements from politicians for political purposes.
