(Los Angeles, CA) — Attorneys who represent Los Angeles County are filing a motion asking for Vanessa Bryant’s lawsuit to be dismissed. The widow of NBA legend Kobe Bryant filed a lawsuit in September of last year against the LA Sheriff and fire department, as well as the County and eight individual officers. Bryant sued following reports that first responders took and shared photos of the crash site where Kobe, his daughter and seven others died in January 2020. Attorneys are arguing that photos are deleted and can’t be recovered, basing the request on work done by a forensic examiner who reviewed devices from over 20 employees and found no photos.
